The vision of Stories from the Trenches is to Engage. Share. Connect. We are building an online community for women that promotes healing, support, and encouragement during the toughest parts of our journeys.
Stories from the Trenches team members help us bring that vision to life in everyday ways, whether that's going out and talking with women face-to-face, connecting with women online through social media, or working behind the scenes to support the community—by planning events, organizing fundraisers and partnerships, editing stories, etc.

Marketing and PR Coordinator
Help us navigate the waters of expanding SFTT both locally and nationally. Share and use your knowledge of marketing strategies, your creativity, your writing skills, and your go-getter personality.
Social Media Intern
We are looking for a woman who is knowledgeable and enthusiastic about all social media platforms, someone who is creative as well as thoughtful when interacting with online communities and building relationships. The candidate also needs to be compassionate and empathic towards our audience—a community of women who are experiencing the trenches of life and finding healing, support, and encouragement through sharing their stories.
Join a team of story editors to work with our authors and help them tell their trench stories. The goal is to preserve the authentic voice of the author while doing moderate copy editing to standardize style, formatting, grammar, etc. (We adhere to the Chicago Manual of Style pretty closely but are also developing an in-house style guide.) Stories are assigned to editors on a rotating basis and are usually due back within the week.
