Weekly Newsletter

Good morning, Trench Community!

We have one more week until our next series, Mosaic, starts. The SFTT team is working behind the scenes for another week to deliver a September full of new stories, social media content and additional resources. You can still head over to the website to read our beautiful brave stories from our August series, Unmet Expectations.

The SFTT team is beginning to plan the rest of our fall season and are currently looking for women to share their trench stories in the upcoming months. We are also looking forward to do having another year of Surviving the Holidays and welcome your story related to getting through the holiday season. You can get started on the Submit a Story page of the website or send me an email if you would like to share but don't know how to write your story.

I'm still hoping to add some more volunteers to our team this fall. If you have a heart for women and story telling, please head over to our volunteer page to see our latest openings. Current needs include: Social Media Director, Art Director, Story Gatherer and PR & Marketing Director.  If you or someone you know would be a good fit, please also feel free to email me!

I've added another part time job to my resume that begins this week. I'm going to be supervising lunch and recess at my youngest school. After years of sitting behind a desk, this will definitely test my patience but also as an extrovert excited to be around so many others. I'm looking forward to getting to know the other kids in my daughter's school and the amazing employees too. I will definitely need to invest in long underwear for the winter so feel free to comment on your suggestions on how else I could stay warm.
